LX Hockey Club is affiliated to England Hockey who offer an excellent Insurance package to all affiliated clubs through Marsh Sport. The Secretary and Treasurer keep a close eye on level of cover and attendant costs to meet the needs of LX Hockey Club.
The main objective of the Insurance is to indemnify the club and its officers against claims in the course of normal hockey club activities. The policy does include accident and injury cover for club members while playing in club matches and tournaments.
However, with the possibility of ongoing and pre-existing health issues, and with the prevalence of exclusion clauses for many conditions, especially for the over 60’s, we recommend that you should take out your own health Insurance to cover your personal situation.
